Chelsea legend Eden Hazard has aimed a not-so-subtle dig at former Blues boss Mauricio Pochettino, saying that the club's performances under the Argentine used to make his son Leo cry.
Hazard recently stopped by A Star Barbers for a haircut, where he was joined by Chelsea captain Reece James.
While getting their trims, the two chatted with each other, as well as with barber Ahmed Alsanawi, about everything from golf to rapper Central Cee.
They also touched upon current Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca, who took over from Pochettino in the summer.
“How’s the new manager Reece?” Hazard, who made 352 appearances for Chelsea between 2012 and 2019, asked James.
"He's good," replied the Blues captain.
Hazard then said: "Better than last season for sure," with which James agreed and smirked. "You know Leo was in depression, because he’s a crazy Chelsea fan," Hazard continued. "He was in depression last year."
"He was crying all game," he added.

Former Tottenham Hotspur boss Pochettino joined Chelsea in July 2023 following the dismissal of Graham Potter.
The Argentine, however, lasted just one season at Stamford Bridge before leaving the Blues by mutual consent and being replaced by Maresca. Pochettino won just over half of his 51 games in charge of Chelsea, guiding the club to a sixth-placed finish in the Premier League, as well as a League Cup final, where his side were beaten by Liverpool.
Though his results, particularly in the first-half of the 2023/24 season, were deemed not good enough, he did earn praise for helping develop a number of Chelsea's young stars during his time in West London, most notably Cole Palmer, who scored 27 goals during the campaign. Maresca, meanwhile, has won 14 of his 22 games as Chelsea manager so far, with the Blues currently sitting second in the top flight.
